Editorial Reviews

Review

Praise for Thomas Perry:
Excellently engineered . . . Soul-searching and car chases too. What more could we ask from an escape artist like Perry? "New York Times Book Review," on "A String of Beads"
It s nothing new to call Perry a master of the genre, but it s no less true for being widely acknowledged. "Booklist" (starred review), on "The Boyfriend"
There are probably half a dozen suspense writers now alive who can be depended upon to deliver high-voltage shocks, vivid, sympathetic characters, and compelling narrative . . . Perry is one of them. Stephen King
Perry keeps readers engrossed with wickedly smart protagonists . . . [He] can really write. "San Francisco Examiner"
"

Better than the TV series
4 Stars
Better than the TV series
It’s way better than the TV series. Much more nuanced, more likeable and perhaps relatable characters. Way more character development, and less soap opera style drama that the tv series relies so heavily on. Sometimes it seems to meander but it’s better than non-stop action that gets repetitive and boring sometimes; like in a Grayman novel.
