About the author

I'm a USA Today bestselling, international multiple-award-winning writer with a passion for the voices in my head. With many (many!) titles across many (many!) genres, all in happy publication, there's no end in sight...
That being said, I'm short (permanent), happy (I have the best life ever) and blonde (for ever and ever). I love to talk one on one about the deepest topics and can't seem to stop seeing the big picture. I happily live on Prince Edward Island, Canada, home to Anne of Green Gables and the most beautiful red beaches in the world, with my multiple cats and pug overlord and lady.

Hard at first to follow all the characters names and relationship s. Better editing needed for sentence structure, incorrect word insertion, and extra words.
Fee has begun her new career with Fleming Investigations (as part owner with her Dad). She is supposed to be supervised but the other owner (her Dad) and the two other employees (Fee's husband and his old FBI partner) are busy on other assignments. This case falls into her lap she is supposed to make sure nothing happens, but if you know Fee, something always does. Not only does she have to solve this case, she needs to make sure the Private Investigators Licensing Board approves her license. With people working against her it's another obstacle in her path.
It's all up to Fee and her trusty pug Petunia to solve the case and make sure her license is approved and she can officially take cases on her own.
If you have read anything by this author you know you can NEVER go wrong with a Patti Larsen book.
Oh, my swearword they are addictive...

Story was moving along most of the time.
Main character seemed to not know which direction she was heading.
Not bad, but could have been better.
